Happily baking since 2009, we proudly bake for everyday South Africans, as well as many food stores, patisseries, cafés, delis and corporate offices across the country. Ours is a simple love story: we just love to bake, and had a dream to bake for others.
So we started to bake biscuits and cookies and rusks and biscotti. We wanted to bake the kind of biscuits we used to run home from school for, the kind that could make us forget all about a grazed knee or a bad day. We baked them with so much love and care that they simply made everything better.
Unlike other luxury biscuit brands, whose lists of ingredients are long – and shelf life sometimes worryingly so! – we were set on our biscuits being baked, iced and packed to order, by hand, in small batches with love and attention to detail.
Today, that’s what the Biscuitry is all about.
In our bakery we bake slowly, with stone ground flour, free range eggs, real vanilla and real chocolate. We bake biscuits we’re proud to put our name on. Yes, our biscuits are made with butter and sugar. They’re also made with only natural ingredients – ingredients you can actually pronounce. No preservatives or any of that bad stuff. In fact, the only additive you’ll find in our beautiful biscuits is pure joy.
Because sometimes we all just need a little melt-in-your-mouth joy.
